Synopsis

The only thing they have in common is an ex.

When Esperanza shows up to her former boyfriend's apartment looking for repayment on a loan, she finds out that she isn't the only one he skipped out on. She meets the "deadbeat" roommate Max, he has been lamenting about for months. Upon meeting the man in person, she realizes they've both been lied to and they're looking for payback, in every way possible.

After his carefully managed life is ransacked by his now absent roommate the last thing Max wants is any more complications. However, turning away the fiery woman who showed up on his door with a vendetta proves to be more and more difficult. Esperanza is the complete opposite of what he imagined based on her description and majorly enticing.

After a night of passionately working out their mutual frustration, they part ways only to be thrust together again when the authorities come knocking on Esperanza's door. Now they both have to clear their names and unravel the lies that brought them together.
