Synopsis
Castalia was born with luz, a rare healing magick that shortens the lives of those who wield it. But unlike others, her gift comes with a crueler burden—the voices of the dead call to her, begging for release. To avoid their torment, she refuses to use her power, living quietly as an apothic.
When a necromancer’s plague disrupts the balance between life and death, the daemons she has long resisted begin whispering to her, their voices no longer terrifying, but sweet. As the dead grow restless and the night stretches long, Castalia must choose: fight against the darkness or surrender to the void that calls her home.
